Climate: Year round the temperatures in the U.S. Virgin Islands vary between 70 degrees and 90 degrees F (21 degrees and 32 degrees C). The temperature of the water is an almost constant 80 degrees F(27 degrees C). The gentle easterly trade winds provide a refreshing breeze all year, giving the Virgin Islands a year round sunny and comfortable climate.

Entry Requirements: St. Thomas is a United States Territory. Non U.S. Citizens, except Canadians, need a valid passport with a visa, U.S. citizens and Canadian citizens need proof of citizenship. Customs And Duties: Shopping in the Virgin Islands is duty free, while U.S. citizens also enjoy a customs exemption of $1200.00 per person. The only applicable tax for visitors is an 8% hotel room tax.
